The Consulate General in Munich is pleased to further facilitate the service of passport extension to the Afghan citizens, to avoid the appearance of Afghan citizens physically at the Consulate General, unless it is needed or called by the staff of Consulate General for further requirements or in person interviews.

  Documents Compulsory for Passport Extension:
      1- Complete Application Form
      2- Copy of the payment receipt 
      3- Copy of verified Tazkira by Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
      4- German ID/Ausweis
      5- Current Passport
  
  Compulsory Documents for children born in Germany:
  If a child has born in Germany and would like to apply for passport extension, his/her parents must provide the following required documents:
      1- Parents Tazkira or Passport
      2- Parents’ Marriage Certificate
      3- Child Birth Certificate 
      4- Current Passport

  APPLICATION Form: 
  The application must be filled carefully in English and in Dari or Pashto for each applicant, with special attention to name and surname’s spelling, date of birth (Day/Month/Year), other details and accurate current address. 
  Documents Postal: 
  Filled application form, original passport and Tazkira (Dari/Pashto and English Translation), copy of the German ID/Ausweis, copy of fees payment for the passport extension along with the other required documents stated above should be posted through an insured postal service to the Consulate General on the below address:

  EXPRESS/REGISTERED SELF-ADDRESSED RETURN ENVELOPE: 
  The applicants are required to provide an Express/Registered self-addressed envelope while sending the aforementioned required documents. The Consulate General will use the Express/Registered envelope to send your extended passport to the designated address provided on the envelope. Please note that all other types of envelopes will not be accepted. The applicants are also required to note the “Tracking number” of the Express Post to enable them to track their post.
  
  
  PASSPORT EXTENSION FEE: 
  The fee for one passport extension with the duration of 5 years is 130 EURO (120 Euros is the Passport Extension Fees and 10 Euros are for Postal services.
